Fractional executive
A fractional CEO, COO, CTO or growth chief who has done the job.
Himank Seth holds a leadership role in each of his six companies, across recruitment, outsourcing, software, reputation, AI and growth. He brings that experience into your company one or two days a week, optimises how it runs and owns the numbers.
Why it works
- 01
He has done the job
Himank runs companies across recruitment, outsourcing, software, reputation, AI and growth. The function he steps into is one he already leads somewhere else.
- 02
He sees across functions
Most problems sit between functions: sales promises what delivery can’t do, tech builds what nobody sells. One person in all of those rooms spots it first.
- 03
He optimises, then hands over
The goal is a company that runs better without him: processes written down, owners named and the right people hired.

Questions
Not sure which role? Take the 2-minute fit check.
What fractional roles does Himank Seth take on?
Four: fractional CEO, COO, CTO and Chief Growth Officer. Each is a function he already leads in one of his own companies, from running AffinitySteps and AapicoSteps as CEO to being Chief Growth Officer at DeqTeq AI Technologies.
What does a fractional executive do?
A fractional executive works part-time, usually one or two days a week, but owns a plan and its targets like a full-time executive would: a weekly review with your team, decisions in that area and accountability for the numbers.
How is this different from hiring one of his companies?
His companies supply teams that do the work. As a fractional executive, Himank owns the plan, the decisions and the results. You can use his companies, your own team or other vendors to carry the work out.
Can one engagement cover more than one role?
Yes, in a small company the areas often overlap, for example operations and technology. The proposal says which areas he owns and how many days a week that takes.
How is Himank paid?
As a basic plus a variable. The basic is a fixed monthly retainer. The variable is tied to the targets agreed at the start, such as a quarterly bonus, a share of new revenue or savings, or equity for early-stage startups. Amounts are agreed on a call.
How do we start?
Book a 20-minute call. Most engagements start with a fixed-fee diagnostic of one to five weeks, and the fee is credited against the engagement if you continue.
When should we hire full-time instead?
When the job needs a leader every day. Himank can help you scope the role and hire that person, and hand over cleanly when they start.
Next step
Tell Himank what needs fixing.
After a 20-minute call you get a written proposal: the role, the time involved, the targets, the basic and the variable.
